The Meta FACIAL® TREATMENT
META FACIAL® is a proprietary treatment methodology developed by Biba de Sousa, a globally recognized esthetician and acne specialist with over 20 years of clinical experience. Created from decades of hands-on practice and thousands of client success stories worldwide, the META FACIAL® goes beyond surface correction to address the root causes of acne, chronic skin imbalance, and premature aging.
At the core of the META FACIAL® is advanced barrier mapping and skin analysis, utilizing professional analytic tools to assess barrier integrity, hydration dynamics, inflammation patterns, congestion, and skin reactivity. This diagnostic approach allows each treatment to be designed with intention—guiding product selection, modality use, massage techniques, and intensity levels based on real-time skin behavior rather than trends or assumptions.
Rooted in advanced skin physiology, the META FACIAL® integrates state-of-the-art treatment modalities, targeted active ingredients, intelligent facial massage, and barrier-repair strategies to restore and maintain optimal skin function. Every treatment is highly customized—each step adapted to the client’s unique skin condition—ensuring precision, safety, and consistently effective results.
Depending on the skin’s needs, the META FACIAL® may incorporate advanced technologies such as microcurrent, ultrasonic therapy, iDerm infusion, galvanic current, and non-LED light therapy. These modalities are selected strategically to support cellular communication, improve circulation, enhance ingredient penetration, calm inflammation, and promote overall skin resilience—never applied as a one-size-fits-all solution.
Lymphatic drainage is a foundational element of the META FACIAL® and may be performed through several methods, including manual techniques, mechanical lymphatic drainage, and specialized tools. Biba may also employ a combination of her seven signature massage techniques—lymphatic drainage, tapotement, Swedish massage, shiatsu, Ko Bi Do, acupressure, and myofascial release—used alone or in synergy with therapeutic tools such as gua sha, kansa wands, and fascia instruments. Together, these techniques support healthy circulation, reduce congestion, modulate inflammation, and assist the skin’s natural detoxification processes.
Each META FACIAL® is completed with carefully selected specialty masks and finishing treatments designed to reinforce barrier integrity, calm the nervous system, and lock in results.

In 2017, she founded her skincare brand, driven by need to perfect the outcome of the facial treatments and passion for transformative results.
Known for her signature Meta Facial™ a highly personalized treatment method, Biba combines advanced techniques and modalities with customized products to address each client’s unique skin concerns.
We are a latex-free facility and do not use LED, RF (radiofrequency) or heat based treatments as they are deemed to be harmful to eye and long term skin health.
